TJ Sterling has been an Instructor at the Joe Kubert School since 2022. His classes have included Create Your Own Comics, Drawing Comic Covers and Basic Drawing in the Online Studies Program. The Joe Kubert School is the world's first comic book college — sessions sold out and run recurring.

In his first work with DC Comics, TJ Sterling served as Interior layout artist for Batman Giant #5. Finished pencils by DC Comics veteran artist Ryan Benjamin. A nationally distributed comic in big box stores and comics shops alike.

TJ Sterling and the RAE Media team of artisans created custom illustrations and book production/design for the coloring book adaptation of The League of Black & Unlimited Dads, a Walmart Black & Unlimited x Martian Blueberry collaboration. The coloring book was distributed nationally in stores and conventions.

TJ Sterling collaborated with Awkward Virgo TV's web series THE COMIC SHOP, a workplace comedy. RAE Media artwork was placed on the outside of the store and RAE Media comic book titles were placed throughout the six episode series. TJ also guest starred in the series as a background actor.

Splash Page — TJ Sterling
Aspen Comics and Michael Turner were a huge inspiration for TJ Sterling in his formative years as a comic book creator. In this nationally distributed comic Michael Turner Legacy, a 10-year commemorative tribute issue, TJ contributed an interior Splash Page of one of their flagship characters Aspen Matthews from the hit series FATHOM.

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York—a division of the New York Public Library—hosts the annual Black Comic Book Festival, featuring curated panels, programming, and community activations. For the festival's 11th annual event, TJ Sterling was commissioned to create the official artwork, which was featured across the festival's promotional materials, including flyers, T-shirts, mugs, and convention badges.
